Quick Update

I am alive and well. I arrived last night at midnight and immediately crashed. Today we are taking care of business and meeting people, which is very fun, but the heat takes a lot out of you. It must me pushing 100!

Expect a longer and detailed post in a day or so, when I explain how I am in Luhansk and my luggage is in Paris.

I hope to see a post on the experience of watching the world cup football in Ukraine ... I imagine the place will be pretty much shut down!

PS: Viva Italia!

Congrats on surviving your first transatlantic flight! The time diffence is tough (8 hrs) - Japan was 14 hrs ahead but I got used to it after 3 days or so. I can't wait to hear more . . .

Happy to hear you made it and sorry to hear about your luggage. Too bad you didn't end up in Paris and your luggage in the Ukraine.

I had no idea it would be that hot when you got there. Let me know if we can send you anything in a care package (I don't think an iced coffee would make it safely...)
